NetGateA clear view of what comes next.
Current tools, the next release and longer-term ideas have different states.
Current NetGate tools
Per-app traffic, historical totals, a live monitor, connection checks and speed testing are present in the application code. App connection control requires setup and a license.
Prepared for the next release
Profiles, limits, schedules and automation are under active development and validation. They are not an automatic update to the copy already installed on your Mac. See the release notes for the prepared behavior.
A future idea: VPN for individual apps
Per-app VPN routing is planned as a future possibility. It is not available in NetGate today, has no announced release date and is not included as a delivered benefit of the current license.
Public availability
NetGate for Mac is available to download. Choose a personal license or a lifetime family license for two or three Macs.
